Voting is now open for the PuroClean of Melbourne Boys Athlete of the Week for the period March 16-29. The ballot is available at 321preps.com and floridatoday.com, with voting closing at noon on Thursday, April 2. Votes are limited to once per device per hour, and organizers reserve the right to disqualify nominees if tampering is detected.

The nominees this week include Garrett Harper of Cocoa Beach baseball, who pitched 6.1 innings in a 3-2 win over Satellite on March 18, allowing three hits, two runs, and two walks while striking out seven. Carter Lee of Viera baseball also earned a spot after pitching five innings in a 4-0 win over MCC on March 18, followed by a three-hit, three-RBI performance in an 11-7 victory over Deltona on March 27. Keiran Cummings of Palm Bay baseball is nominated for hitting a three-run homer in a 9-6 win over Astronaut on March 18.

Nickolas Velazquez of Edgewood tennis is another nominee, having defeated West Shore 8-0 and partnered with Edoardo Sirolli to win a doubles match 8-4 on March 17. Brock Lustic of Eau Gallie baseball is also up for consideration after pitching seven innings in a 4-2 win over Satellite on March 18, allowing three hits, two runs, and striking out 14 batters. Lustic also contributed three hits, two doubles, and three RBI in a 7-2 win over Capital City (Missouri).

Coaches and athletic directors can nominate athletes by emailing accomplishments for the previous Monday through Saturday to [email protected] by 10 a.m. each Sunday. The last winner of the award was Clay MacConnell of Melbourne baseball. A full list of 2025-26 winners is available at the bottom of the voting page. Votes are due by noon on April 2, and the poll may require refreshing if not immediately visible upon loading.
