⛑️ Beach Safety Tips

  • 🏊 Always swim near a lifeguard
  • 🌊 If caught in a rip current, swim parallel to shore
  • ☀️ Apply SPF 30+ sunscreen every 2 hours
  • 💧 Stay hydrated — bring plenty of water
  • 👀 Watch for flags and posted warnings
  • 🦈 Avoid swimming at dawn, dusk, or near schools of fish
  • 👟 Shuffle your feet to avoid stingrays
  • 🐢 Don't disturb sea turtle nests (May–Oct)

Medium hazard — moderate surf and/or currents. Swim with caution.

Red Flag

High hazard — strong surf and/or currents. Only experienced swimmers.

Dangerous marine life — jellyfish, stingrays, or sharks reported.

Double Red Flag

Water closed to public. Do not enter the water.
