Kathryn Staczek Rudloff has been named president of United Way Space Coast, effective immediately. The appointment was announced June 19, 2026, after Rudloff served as director of the weVENTURE Women’s Business Center at Florida Institute of Technology since 2020. She will succeed Mary "M.E." Kelly, who held an interim role following the resignation of Caron Partridge in November 2025. Partridge, who had worked with United Way for nearly 25 years, left without stating a reason, according to previous reports.
Rudloff brings more than two decades of experience in nonprofit leadership and community advocacy to the role. She previously worked at Florida Tech, where she managed programs funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration and oversaw staff and volunteer efforts to support women entrepreneurs. United Way officials said she will collaborate with the board, staff, and community partners to expand the organization’s impact.
The transition comes after a year of leadership changes. Partridge, initially hired in 2001 as vice president of communications, became interim president in 2022 before her permanent appointment. Kelly stepped in as interim president in late 2025, a role she held until Rudloff’s hiring. United Way said the new president will focus on advancing the organization’s mission to address local needs.
Rudloff expressed enthusiasm about the opportunity in a statement. "I am incredibly excited for this opportunity to serve the Space Coast community," she said. "I look forward to working alongside our staff, volunteers, donors and partners to expand our impact and continue building a stronger future." Her background in nonprofit management and her ties to Brevard County were cited as key factors in her selection.
