The tribute, titled 'Beer for My Horses: A Tribute to Toby Keith,' aims to capture the energy of a real Toby Keith arena tour. Stan Allen, CEO of Allengang Entertainment, said Cronin 'looks and sounds just like' Keith and that the performances 'are as real as it gets.' The event will take place as the nation approaches its 250th birthday, with organizers highlighting Keith’s patriotism and working-class themes.
Toby Keith, who sold over 40 million albums worldwide and earned 20 number-one hits, was known for his military support and anthems like 'Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue.' His 18 USO tours earned him the Spirit of the USO Award. The tribute group will perform hits spanning nearly 30 years of Keith’s career.
The show is part of Allengang Entertainment’s national tour, which seeks to recreate the 'high-energy and crowd-pleasing atmosphere' of Keith’s concerts. Fans can expect sing-along renditions of classics like 'How Do You Like Me Now?!' and 'As Good as I Once Was.' The event will take place at 7 p.m. at the Moose Lodge, a local venue that has hosted various community events.
