The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds will perform at NASA's Kennedy Space Center on Nov. 7-8, according to a social media update from the flight demonstration team. The show is part of the Thunderbirds' 2026 schedule and ties into nationwide celebrations of the United States' 250th anniversary. The performance will take place on the Space Coast, where the team previously headlined the Cocoa Beach Air Show in April 2023. The event was announced via the Thunderbirds' Facebook and Instagram accounts but has not yet been added to their official website. "Our 2026 show schedule has been updated, and we couldn’t be more excited to finish the season celebrating 250 years of the greatest nation on Earth in a city near you!" the social media post said. NASA has not publicly commented on the upcoming appearance. The Thunderbirds' November show at KSC will be their second Florida performance of the year. They will also appear at the NAS Jacksonville Air Show on Oct. 17-18. The 2023 Cocoa Beach Air Show, which the Thunderbirds headlined, also featured the U.S. Navy EA-18G Growler, B-52 Stratofortress, and other military aircraft. The team's 2026 schedule was revised last week, but details about the KSC event remain sparse. The performance will be the first time the Thunderbirds have flown at KSC since 2023. No ticket information or viewing details have been released yet. The show is expected to draw crowds from across Brevard County, though NASA has not confirmed plans for ground activities or safety protocols. The Thunderbirds' appearance is one of several events planned statewide to mark the U.S. 250th anniversary, which will be celebrated through 2026.
