Brevard County's spring festival season is underway, featuring events from February through April that mix food, music and community fundraising. The Zonta Club of Melbourne’s annual Chocolate Festival will take place March 1 at The Grand Manor in Melbourne, while Palm Bay’s 'Treats, Beats & Eats' event happens Friday, Feb. 27 at City Hall. Both events highlight local flavors and support community causes.
The Zonta Chocolate Festival runs from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 1, at The Grand Manor, 1450 Sarno Road, Melbourne. Local chocolatiers will compete for the title of 'Brevard's Best Chocolate Fix of 2026' as attendees sample desserts and vote for their favorites. Admission is $50 in advance or $55 at the door. Proceeds fund Zonta Club’s scholarships, community projects and efforts against human trafficking and violence against women.
Across the county, Palm Bay’s 'Treats, Beats & Eats' offers free admission and parking from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27, at 120 Malabar Road. The event includes food vendors, live music and family activities. The Palm Bay Fire Department will have a fire truck for children to explore.
Other festivals in February and March include the Poocharella pet parade and various food-focused events like garlic and seafood festivals.
