SpaceX is targeting St. Patrick's Day for its next rocket launch from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, following a successful Pi Day mission that sent 53 Starlink satellites into orbit. The Falcon 9 rocket is scheduled to lift off no earlier than 6:26 a.m. Tuesday, March 17 from Launch Complex 40, with a backup window extending until 10:26 a.m. The mission will carry 29 satellites as part of the Starlink 10-46 batch, continuing the company's effort to expand global broadband coverage. This will be the fourth Starlink mission in group 10, all of which have followed a northeast trajectory. Residents north of Cape Canaveral may spot the rocket ascending if weather conditions cooperate. The launch comes after a cold front moved through the area Saturday, but forecasts show clearing skies by Tuesday morning. The Falcon 9's first stage will land on the A Shortfall of Gravitas drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean, avoiding sonic booms over Brevard County.
