Rainfall data from the area near Starbase Louisiana shows an average of 64.09 inches per year, compared to 50.79 inches at Cape Canaveral. This discrepancy could impact launch operations, as NASA's Artemis I mission has strict guidelines prohibiting launches through precipitation. Wet conditions pose safety risks for personnel and equipment, and also signal potential hazards like lightning, turbulent air, or thick clouds. Lightning is another major concern for Starbase Louisiana.
