SpaceX is targeting a rocket launch for 5:20 a.m. ET Friday from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The Falcon 9 will carry 29 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit, marking the 30th flight of the first-stage booster used for this mission. The booster previously supported launches including NASA’s CRS-24 mission, Eutelsat HOTBIRD 13-F, OneWeb 1, and multiple Starlink missions. The launch will be visible to residents along the Space Coast, with live coverage available on Space Coast Daily TV. Following stage separation, the first stage will land on the A Shortfall of Gravitas droneship, positioned in the Atlantic Ocean. This will be the first landing on the droneship since its deployment in 2023. The mission comes as SpaceX continues to expand its Starlink constellation, which now includes over 4,000 satellites in orbit. The company has stated the satellites will provide broadband internet to underserved areas globally.
