Space Coast Town Center in West Melbourne has opened its first retail and residential tenants as part of a 225-acre mixed-use development. The project, located west of Interstate 95 on U.S. 192 and St. Johns Heritage Parkway, now includes a 300-unit luxury apartment complex called Integra Station, along with Panda Express, Chipotle, and a 7-Eleven. Edgar Jones, principal at Space Coast Town Center, said the openings mark the start of a new community aimed at serving the aerospace and tech workforce.
The development is positioned near major employers like NASA, Lockheed Martin, and Northrop Grumman. It is designed to be a walkable area where residents can live, work, and shop. The first phase includes 300 residential units and retail spaces, with more businesses expected to join later. Jones said the project is meant to support Brevard County’s growing economy.
Integra Station, which already existed before the town center’s development, is now part of the larger plan. The retail tenants are among the first to open, offering food and convenience options. The area is expected to attract workers from nearby aerospace companies, as well as new residents.
The project’s location near major highways and employers makes it accessible to thousands of potential residents. Jones said the town center is still under construction, with more residential and commercial spaces planned. No specific timeline was given for future phases, but the initial openings are seen as a step toward completing the 225-acre vision.
