A third series, called EXPLORE, will pair concerts with workshops for students in Brevard schools.
Conductor Maria Lopez emphasized the season’s emphasis on accessibility. "We want to make classical music feel relevant," she said during a press briefing. The orchestra will also host free community concerts in Cocoa and Titusville, part of a new initiative to reduce barriers to attendance.
The lineup includes collaborations with the Florida Orchestra and guest artists from the Kennedy Space Center.
