June saw only six launches, but July has picked up pace. SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket on July 5, sending 29 Starlink satellites into orbit, and another on July 9 that created a visible 'jellyfish' effect in the sky. The July 9 launch was visible beyond the Space Coast due to its trajectory and weather conditions. SpaceX is expected to conduct more Falcon 9 missions in July, with launches scheduled for July 18 and July 25. The company's frequent launches have become a regular sight for residents and visitors. The Space Coast's launch activity has drawn attention from across the country, though weather and cloud cover can sometimes limit visibility. With 46 launches already this year, the region is on track to exceed 2025's record if current trends continue.
