The Space Coast Key Lime Pie Festival returns to Space Coast Daily Park in Viera Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 21-22, with two days of pie-eating contests, a Miss Key Lime Pie pageant and live music. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. each day. Admission is $7 per person, with children under 2 admitted free. The festival is held at the park on the Space Coast’s eastern edge, near the intersection of Wickham Road and U.S. 1.
Activities include a pie-eating contest, a pageant featuring contestants in key lime-themed costumes, and live music from local bands. Food vendors will sell key lime pie, citrus drinks and other treats. The event also includes a midway with games and rides.
The festival has been held annually since 2013, drawing thousands of visitors each year. Organizers say the event highlights Brevard County’s connection to key lime production, which once made the region a major citrus hub.
The event is hosted by the Space Coast Daily newspaper and the Viera Village Association. Well-behaved pets are allowed, and organizers encourage attendees to bring reusable cups for drinks.
The festival is part of Viera’s efforts to promote local culture and tourism. Similar events in the past have drawn crowds from across Florida’s Space Coast and beyond.
