The Space Coast Key Lime Pie Festival opened today in Viera Village Park, running through Sunday with live music, pie tastings, and crafts. The event, hosted by the Brevard County Convention and Visitors Bureau, features over 50 vendors selling key lime pie and related goods. Admission is free, and parking is available at nearby lots.
Visitors can sample pies from local bakeries and restaurants, including entries from The Pie Hole and Viera’s own Key Lime Pie Company. The festival also includes live acoustic performances on two stages, a kids’ zone with face painting, and a pie-eating contest at 2 p.m. each day. Food trucks and craft beer vendors line the park’s main pathways.
The event has grown since its 2019 debut, drawing an estimated 8,000 attendees last year. Organizers say the festival highlights Brevard’s agricultural heritage, with key lime trees cultivated in nearby areas like Titusville. Local farmers sell fresh limes and citrus products at the marketplace.
No tickets are required, and the festival runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days. The event is part of Viera’s ongoing efforts to promote community gatherings, following the success of the annual Viera Food Truck Festival. Rain dates are set for October 21-22.
