The Space Coast Bulls & Barrels rodeo event will return to Viera’s Space Coast Daily Park on May 15 and 16, with gates opening at 5:30 p.m. each night. The main show starts at 7:30 p.m., featuring bull riding and barrel racing competitions. Tickets are on sale now, with children seven and under admitted free. The event is presented by Space Coast Daily and sponsored by Kelly Ford.
Organizers say the expanded seating capacity reflects growing interest in rodeo events along Florida’s Space Coast. The park has added more general admission areas to accommodate larger crowds. Last year’s event drew over 10,000 attendees across both nights, according to park officials.
Riders will compete in two categories: bareback bull riding and timed events like barrel racing. Spectators can watch from bleacher seats or standing room areas. Food vendors will operate inside the park, selling burgers, fried chicken, and other fair-style fare.
Advance tickets are available through the event’s website, with discounts for purchases made before April 20. The event has sold out in previous years, so organizers urge attendees to buy tickets early. Parking will be available in lot A near the park’s main entrance, with shuttle service to the venue for those who need it.
The rodeo is one of several major events held annually at Space Coast Daily Park, which also hosts concerts and car shows. This year’s event will include a new family-friendly zone with face painting and crafts for children. The park’s management says they are working to improve crowd flow and safety measures for the expanded layout.
