The lone goal came in the 68th minute, with Viera's defense holding strong throughout the match. Satellite struggled to generate consistent offense, with only two shots on goal according to the game recap. Viera's goalkeeper made three saves, including a critical stop in the 82nd minute that preserved the shutout.
The game was part of a busy week for both teams, with Viera hosting three matches in a span of seven days. Satellite coach Kevin Graham said the team needs to address its defensive lapses, which he called 'costly' in the match. 'We had chances, but we didn't execute when it mattered most,' Graham said in a post-game interview.
