Salty Bagel and Grill opened its sixth Brevard County location on July 22, 2026, at 223 W. Hibiscus Blvd. in Melbourne. The locally founded eatery, which began in Satellite Beach in 2021, now operates six locations across the Space Coast. The new restaurant serves bagels, sandwiches, coffee and lunch items daily from 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Customers can choose from signature offerings like the spicy 'On the Border' sandwich and the salmon-topped 'Nova.'

The chain's growth follows a steady expansion since its founding. Previous locations include spots in Satellite Beach, Cocoa Beach, Melbourne, Indialantic and Rockledge. Each site serves the same menu, featuring fresh-baked bagels and house-made cream cheeses. The Melbourne location is the first in the city, though the brand has been present in neighboring areas since 2021.

The new restaurant is part of a broader trend of food businesses growing in Brevard County. Salty Bagel's co-founders have not commented publicly on the expansion, but existing locations report consistent daily crowds. The chain's menu includes breakfast sandwiches, bagel variations and lunch options like salads and wraps. All locations operate under the same ownership structure.

Existing Salty Bagel locations are at 1124 State Road A1A in Satellite Beach, 25 S. Atlantic Ave. in Cocoa Beach, 7640 N. Wickham Road in Melbourne, 1400 State Road A1A in Indialantic and 3705 Murrell Road in Rockledge. The Melbourne restaurant is open seven days a week, with no plans announced for further expansions in the near term.
