Raising Cane's is set to open its newest Florida restaurant in Kissimmee on June 26. The chain, known for its hand-battered chicken tenders and simple menu, has been rapidly expanding in the state. The new location will be at 1200 W Osceola Pkwy, near John Young Pkwy. This site is about 13 miles from Raising Cane's existing Kissimmee restaurant, which opened earlier this year. The chain has also recently opened locations in Pensacola, Gainesville, Ocala, and Orlando. Future plans include locations in Tallahassee, Jacksonville, Fort Myers, Largo, Brandon, and Melbourne. The Kissimmee opening follows a March launch in Ocala and two December openings in Orlando. The new restaurant will join other Raising Cane's locations in Florida, which have been growing since the chain's first Orlando store opened in 2021. In Jacksonville, the chain is working on three locations: one at Mandarin Corners, another at The Markets at Town Center, and a third at the former Regency Square Mall. In Fort Myers, a new spot is set to open at 13186 S. Cleveland Ave., a site that has been vacant for 17 years. The chain submitted plans for a Largo location in May 2025. Raising Cane's has also announced a second Tallahassee location, replacing a 7,800-square-foot building at 2000 Apalachee Parkway. The expansion comes as the chain continues to grow its footprint in Florida, with more locations in development. The new Kissimmee restaurant will offer the same menu as other locations, including hand-battered chicken tenders, buttered Texas toast, fries, and slaw. The chain's menu has remained consistent since its founding in 2004. The new restaurant is expected to draw locals and visitors, adding to the growing number of Raising Cane's locations in the state. The chain's expansion in Florida is part of a broader strategy to increase its presence nationwide.
