Palm Coast will host Florida’s largest youth lacrosse tournament this Father’s Day, with more than 150 teams expected to compete at the Indian Trails Sports Complex. The event, organized by the City of Palm Coast in partnership with Florida United Lacrosse, is one of three annual tournaments held in the area, including the Pumpkin Shootout and Veterans Day Invitational. James Hirst, Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Palm Coast, said the tournament has drawn athletes and families from across the state for 18 years. ‘We’re proud to continue that tradition,’ Hirst said. ‘These events showcase our sports facilities and generate economic impact for local businesses.’ The tournament includes divisions from 8U to high school levels, with games taking place at the Indian Trails Sports Complex. Local officials estimate the event will contribute over $1 million to the regional economy. The tournament follows similar events in October and November, which have helped establish Palm Coast as a key youth sports destination in Florida.
