Over 150 youth lacrosse teams from across Florida will gather in Palm Coast on June 20-21, 2026, for the 18th annual Father’s Day Lacrosse Tournament. The event, organized by Florida United Lacrosse, is expected to draw thousands of visitors to the city. James Hirst, Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Palm Coast, said the tournament has brought athletes and families from across the state for 18 years.
Games will take place at Indian Trails Sports Complex, with divisions for boys and girls ranging from 8U to high school levels. Teams will compete throughout the weekend, and the event is projected to generate $1.8 million in economic impact from hotel stays, dining, and shopping. Hirst said the tournament highlights the city’s sports facilities and creates opportunities for local businesses.
The Father’s Day Tournament is one of three major annual events hosted by Palm Coast in partnership with Florida United Lacrosse. The city has worked with the organization for years to bring lacrosse events to the area. This year’s tournament will feature teams from throughout Florida, with families expected to fill local hotels and restaurants during the two-day event.
Hirst emphasized the importance of the tournament to the community. ‘Events like this showcase our sports facilities and create memorable experiences for players, parents, and visitors,’ he said. The tournament is a key part of Palm Coast’s efforts to attract sports tourism and support youth athletics.
