Palm Bay police are investigating a suspect believed to be connected to multiple hit-and-run incidents in the city. The suspect is described as a male in his 30s, according to law enforcement. Officers are reviewing surveillance footage and speaking with witnesses to identify the individual. The accidents have occurred in different parts of Palm Bay over the past two weeks. One incident was reported near the intersection of Saturn Drive and Jupiter Boulevard on March 12. Another occurred on March 18 near the Palm Bay Regional Library. Police have not yet confirmed if the suspect is linked to all the incidents. Residents are being urged to contact authorities with any information. 'We’re treating this as a priority,' said Sgt. Maria Gonzalez during a press briefing. 'Every hit-and-run is a serious matter, especially when it happens repeatedly in the same area.' The suspect’s vehicle is described as a dark-colored SUV with partial damage to the front bumper. Investigators believe the suspect may be fleeing the area to avoid identification. No injuries have been reported in the incidents. The Florida Highway Patrol is assisting with the investigation. A reward of $5,000 has been offered for information leading to the suspect’s arrest.
