A Palm Bay woman died in a traffic crash after dropping her daughter off at Florida A&M University on Tuesday. The incident occurred near the university's main campus entrance, according to Brevard County Sheriff’s Office records. The woman’s name has not been released pending notification of her family.
The crash happened around 8:30 a.m. as the mother was driving her daughter to class. Witnesses reported seeing the vehicle swerve before colliding with a guardrail. First responders arrived within minutes, but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her daughter was not injured in the incident.
