A five-acre brushfire broke out near homeless camps on Babcock Street in Palm Bay on Tuesday, April 21, and was contained by Palm Bay Fire Rescue with assistance from a Brevard County sheriff's helicopter, officials said. The area near the Habitat for Humanity store remains under scrutiny, with officials emphasizing the need for caution in the wooded region.
