A new ramen restaurant has opened in downtown Cocoa Beach, transforming a former Subway location at 26 S. Atlantic Ave. into a high-energy spot serving ramen, bao buns, dumplings and other Asian street food. Dirty Noodz Ramen & Sake Bar opened on June 19, 2026, with regular hours from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday. The 121-seat restaurant features indoor and outdoor seating, neon accents and murals, creating a fast-casual atmosphere with a Tokyo-inspired theme.
Owner Daniel Todd, who also runs 4th Street Fillin Station, Dirty Birds Tiki Bar & Grill and The Alibi Cocktails & Bites in Cocoa Beach, said the restaurant is the boldest project he’s undertaken. 'We wanted guests to feel like they’ve stepped into something completely different from anything else on the Space Coast,' Todd said in a press release. The space will also soon be joined by Lakeside Social, another of Todd’s ventures, in Viera.
The menu includes ramen bowls, crispy Katsu chicken ramen, brisket bao buns, chicken wings and vegetarian options. Sake flights and imported Asian beers are available, along with cocktails like the 'dirty espresso,' 'lychee kiss' and the pink 'Pink Noise.' The restaurant emphasizes playful drink names and bold flavors, with a focus on sake and Asian-inspired cocktails.
The former Subway location has been completely overhauled, with seating for 121 people across multiple areas. The restaurant’s opening comes as downtown Cocoa Beach continues to see new dining options, though it remains to be seen how Dirty Noodz will fit into the existing food scene. Todd’s other restaurants in the area have drawn crowds, and the new spot may add to the competition for diners looking for late-night eats.
