Brevard County's restaurant scene shifted in June with the arrival of several new eateries and the closure of others. Among the additions are Backwoods Social House in Cocoa, PopUp Bagels in Viera, Dirty Noodz Ramen & Sake Bar in Cocoa Beach, and Driftwoods Coastal Grill in Titusville. These openings join a slate of changes that continue to reshape dining options across the Space Coast. Backwoods Social House, now open at 4365 Grissom Parkway, took over the former Jabbers space. The restaurant expanded from its food truck roots to offer a full menu of Southern staples like fried chicken, burgers, and pasta, along with kid-friendly options. The eatery's move to a permanent location marks a significant step for the locally owned business. PopUp Bagels, known for its viral social media presence and unsliced, crispy bagels, opened in Viera at 2105 Viera Blvd. The shop, located between CAVA and Lucky Goat Coffee, has drawn long lines since its debut. Its unique approach to bagel service, emphasizing tearing the bread apart and dipping it in schmear, has become a local talking point. In Cocoa Beach, Dirty Noodz Ramen & Sake Bar opened in the former Subway location at 26 S. Atlantic Ave. The late-night spot serves ramen, dumplings, and Tokyo-inspired street food with a fast-casual vibe. Neon accents and indoor-outdoor seating add to its energetic atmosphere. Meanwhile, Driftwoods Coastal Grill opened in Titusville at 3665 S Washington Ave., offering seafood dishes like crispy redfish tacos and poke bowls. The changes come as some longtime restaurants closed, reflecting the dynamic nature of Brevard's dining scene. An Italian-style bakery, Baked by Chelle, is also set to open in Melbourne in early July, adding to the month's momentum of new concepts.
