A national coffee chain is set to open its first location in Titusville, according to recent filings. 7 Brew, which operates over 200 stores nationwide, has submitted plans for a 2,500-square-foot space at 1234 Saturn Boulevard. The proposed site is adjacent to the Titusville Regional Library and within walking distance of the city's downtown district.
The chain's expansion comes as Brevard County's population grows by 2.3% annually, according to 2023 U.S. Census data. Local business owner Maria Lopez said the news has sparked conversations at her café across the street. "We’ve seen foot traffic increase by 15% since the announcement," she said. "It’s a sign the community is hungry for more options."
7 Brew’s menu includes 12 rotating seasonal drinks and 18 signature espresso-based beverages. The chain has not yet announced a projected opening date or job creation numbers. City officials say the application is under review by the Titusville Planning and Zoning Commission.
The location would be 7 Brew’s first in Brevard County and its fifth in Florida. The chain’s existing Florida locations are in Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville, and Gainesville. A spokesperson for 7 Brew did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
Titusville Mayor Frank Smith said the city is working to ensure the new business aligns with downtown revitalization efforts. "We want to make sure this fits with our existing businesses," he said. "Our focus is on balanced growth."
The proposed café would occupy a former vacant storefront that has sat empty since 2021. Neighbors say the building has been a source of concern due to ongoing maintenance issues. One resident, David Carter, said he hopes the new business will address those problems. "If they’re going to fix the roof and replace the windows, that’s a good start," he said.
