A mobile dog gym service called Jog Pup has launched on Florida’s Space Coast, providing agility training and socialization for dogs at local parks and events. The service, which operates out of a customized van, aims to bring interactive canine exercise to areas without dedicated dog-friendly facilities. Owners can book sessions for their pets at various locations throughout Brevard County.
The van is equipped with portable obstacles, weave poles, and other training tools designed for dogs of all sizes. Operators say the service fills a gap for pet owners who lack access to traditional dog parks or training centers. 'We saw a need for flexible, on-the-go options,' said a spokesperson for Jog Pup. 'Many neighborhoods don’t have the space for permanent facilities.'
The service has already held demonstrations at Cocoa Beach and Titusville, drawing crowds of dogs and their owners. Sessions typically last 30 minutes and include guided activities led by trained handlers. Pricing details are not yet available, but organizers plan to offer packages for frequent users.
Local animal advocates have welcomed the initiative, noting it provides a low-cost way for pets to stay active. 'This is a smart solution for communities that can’t afford large-scale dog parks,' said one resident. The service is expected to expand to additional areas in the coming months.
