Lake Buena Vista will be locked and unstaffed during the closure window.
Residents with urgent matters can visit the city's website for self-service options or contact the customer service line. Non-essential permits and licenses will not be issued during the closure period. The city expects to resume normal operations on January 2. City Hall will remain open on December 26, 27, and 31 for limited services.
The closure follows a similar pattern in recent years. In 2022, the same three-day shutdown was implemented with no reported disruptions to essential services. The city has not released specific staffing numbers for the holiday period but confirmed that all critical departments will maintain minimum operational capacity.
