Margarita Island will open its third Brevard County restaurant in Indian Harbour Beach in May 2026, according to the restaurant group. The new location at 445 E. Eau Gallie Blvd. will replace the former Masa Taqueria y Cantina and mark the sixth Margarita Island restaurant in Florida. Elizabeth Sanchez, co-owner of the restaurant group, said the expansion reflects the company's commitment to the Space Coast. 'We are excited to bring a tropical Mexican dining experience to Indian Harbour Beach,' Sanchez said. 'Our menu blends coastal Mexican flavors with island-style ambiance.' The restaurant will serve Mexican cuisine with dishes like bacon-wrapped goat cheese chiles rellenos and Ixtapa chipotle salmon. A full bar will offer signature drinks including margaritas, mezcal cocktails, and Mexican mules. The new location will be the third Margarita Island restaurant in Brevard County, joining existing locations in Melbourne and Palm Bay. The restaurant group has opened six locations statewide since 2020, with plans for further expansion. The Indian Harbour Beach site was previously occupied by Masa Taqueria y Cantina, which closed in early 2026. Sanchez emphasized the importance of community investment. 'We are proud to continue supporting local businesses and residents,' she said. The restaurant is expected to create 50 new jobs in the area. The menu will include classic Mexican dishes such as fajitas, quesadillas, and taco salads, alongside the restaurant's signature items. The bar will feature a selection of tequila, mezcal, and other Mexican spirits. The new location is part of Margarita Island's growth strategy, which has seen the chain expand from one restaurant in 2018 to six locations across Florida. The Indian Harbour Beach restaurant is scheduled to open in May, though an exact date has not been announced. The restaurant group has not disclosed financial details about the new location.
