Douglas Caraballo, CEO of Everhome Living, is building 94 luxury townhomes on Central Boulevard in Cape Canaveral where residents can watch rocket launches from private rooftops 35 feet above ground. The three-story homes will feature Banana River views and private balconies with unobstructed sightlines to the launch pads. Caraballo said the developer designed the rooftops to give families privacy while watching liftoffs.
The project is located near Astronaut Boulevard, a major corridor in the Cape Canaveral area. Each home will have 2,800 square feet with three or four bedrooms and will start in the mid $600,000s. Everhome Living is prioritizing privacy in the design, ensuring residents can enjoy launches without neighbors crowding the balconies.
Vincent Keenan, a Cape Canaveral realtor with 46 years of experience, called the development timely. He said the growing number of aerospace workers moving to the Space Coast will create demand for the homes. 'It brings livable square feet to the unit,' Keenan said, adding the rooftop views will increase property value.
Groundbreaking is expected by December 2026, with sales launching in 2027. The homes will be part of a larger trend as commercial space launches become more frequent. Caraballo said the project leverages the Space Coast's unique position to offer residents a direct view of rocket launches from their own balconies.
Keenan noted the area's real estate market has seen 'giant growth' due to aerospace industry expansion. The new townhomes will cater to families and professionals working in the space sector, who are increasingly choosing to live near launch sites. The development is expected to open for sales in early 2027.
