The City of Melbourne Public Works and Utilities Department is closing the outside eastbound lane of Eau Gallie Boulevard/SR 518 between U.S. 1 and Water Street on Wednesday, April 1. The closure will happen from 2 a.m. to 5 a.m. to allow workers to connect a sewer pipe. Drivers should plan alternate routes during that time.
