A new waterfront destination for Viera is set to open in early June 2026, with a grand opening planned for the Fourth of July weekend. Lakeside Social at Viera Town Center will combine a bar, food vendors, and live entertainment on Town Center Avenue west of The Avenue Viera, near The Luna and Urban Prime. The project is led by The Viera Company and Rogue Wave Hospitality Group, which previously opened 4th Street Fillin Station and The Alibi Cocktails & Bites in the area.
The venue will feature an open-air design with a focus on community use. It will host live music, school performances, art shows, seasonal festivals, and family-friendly activities. All events will be open to the public, according to developers. "We wanted to create something that feels like a backyard on the water; a place the community can gather regularly," said Daniel Todd of Rogue Wave Hospitality Group.
Located along the water, Lakeside Social will operate as a central hub for Viera residents and visitors. The space will transition from daytime activities to evening events, blending the vibe of a craft cocktail bar with the flexibility of an outdoor gathering area. The venue will include curated food vendors and a focus on local programming.
The Viera Company and Rogue Wave Hospitality Group emphasize accessibility in their plans. No tickets will be required for most events, and the venue will prioritize public use. The project builds on previous successes in Viera, including the 4th Street Fillin Station and The Alibi, which have drawn regular crowds.
Lakeside Social is part of ongoing efforts to expand amenities in Viera Town Center. The area has seen growth in recent years, with new businesses and residential developments. The venue will add to the mix of dining, shopping, and entertainment options available to residents.
The soft opening in June 2026 will allow organizers to test operations before the July grand opening. Details about programming and food vendors will be announced closer to the opening dates.
