Lakeside Social at Viera Town Center opens to the public at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, offering a new waterfront destination for food, drinks, and events in Viera. The venue is operated by Rogue Wave Hospitality and features four signature dining concepts: DOUGH Pizza Co., BeeG's Sweet Shack, 4th Street Fillin' Station, and Modern Asian Curated Street Foods. The space includes a performance pavilion, an expansive event lawn, and 1,000 feet of waterfront access, designed for community gatherings and outdoor activities.
The park is part of The Viera Company's master-planned community, developed as a signature amenity for residents and visitors. Rogue Wave Hospitality worked with The Viera Company during planning to shape the guest experience and hospitality programming. As the exclusive operator, Rogue Wave will manage all food and beverage service at the venue. 'Our goal wasn't simply to build another place to eat or have a drink,' said Daniel Todd, founder and CEO of Rogue Wave Hospitality. 'We wanted to create a place where families spend entire afternoons together, professionals meet after work, and neighbors gather for live music.'
Lakeside Social will host live entertainment, craft cocktails, and year-round community events. The venue's layout includes landscaped public spaces and areas for large gatherings, with views of the surrounding waterfront. The Viera Company described the project as part of its effort to create a 'vibrant community hub,' though specifics on future events or programming were not detailed in the announcement. The park is located at Lakeside at Viera Town Center, a development that has drawn attention for its mix of residential, retail, and recreational spaces.
The opening comes as Viera continues to expand its offerings, with Lakeside Social adding to existing amenities like the Viera Town Center shopping and dining area. Rogue Wave Hospitality has not disclosed initial hours or ticket prices for events, but the venue will be open daily. The performance pavilion and event lawn are available for rental, according to the company's website, which lists upcoming dates for weddings, concerts, and festivals.
