The Melbourne-based brewery also earned six medals — two gold and four silver — in the 2026 Best Florida Beer Professional Competition, which judged hundreds of entries from across the state. Located in a renovated 125-year-old building in downtown Melbourne’s Historic District, Hell ’n Blazes has become a local fixture since opening its doors. The competition, organized by Best Florida Beer, a website promoting Florida’s craft brewers, drew entries from breweries statewide. Owner Don DiFrisco said the success is due in large part to brewmaster Todd Furbeck. 'He is the genius behind our beer,' DiFrisco said.
