The Florida Master Naturalist Program will hold an Environmental Interpretation course in Brevard County from May 1 to May 9. The in-person class will meet on Fridays and Saturdays at the UF/IFAS Brevard County Extension office. Registration opens now and closes at noon on April 27. Fees start at $250 per person. Space is limited. The course is designed for anyone interested in Florida’s ecosystems and conservation education.
Participants will learn how to manage groups in natural settings, create interpretive displays, and use communication techniques to educate the public. The program covers topics like Florida’s native plants, wildlife, and conservation efforts. Classes will include hands-on activities and fieldwork. UF/IFAS Extension staff will lead the sessions.
