Fire + Bloom Coastal Kitchen will open in Cocoa Beach with a soft opening planned for late August. The restaurant, located at 130 Canaveral Plaza Blvd., is owned by Bo and Laura Stewart. It will initially serve dinner and cocktails, with lunch to come later. Operating hours will be 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. A weekday happy hour is also in the works.
The menu, created by Bo Stewart and Chef Jeff Kainz, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, features a mix of coastal Florida, Hawaiian, and Asian-inspired dishes. Shareable options include kalua pork nachos, coconut snapper bites, and Lava Tiger black shrimp. Pizzas like the Chinatown, with Chinese sausage and shishito peppers, and the Swineapple, with kalua pork and pineapple, are also on the menu. Nori tacos, served in crispy shells, will be a standout item.
Beverage service includes beer, wine, and craft cocktails. Liquid nitrogen frozen drinks, such as the lychee martini and pineapple margarita, will be made tableside. The restaurant aims to create a lively social atmosphere.
Owners plan to add lunch service after the initial opening period. They are also working on a weekday happy hour to attract more diners. The restaurant’s focus on fusion cuisine and unique cocktails is expected to draw attention from local food enthusiasts.
Fire + Bloom Coastal Kitchen’s blend of flavors and creative menu options highlight the growing culinary scene in Cocoa Beach. The soft opening will allow the team to refine operations before expanding to lunch service.
