FDLE canceled the Missing Child Alert for Sinsira Jackson early Tuesday after confirming the boy is safe. The alert had been active since just after 1:30 a.m. Monday for Jackson, 11, who was last seen near the 1400 block of Dixon Boulevard in Cocoa on Sunday. FDLE said the child is now in the care of authorities and no longer needs public assistance.
Jackson was described as 4 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 90 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a red beanie cap, pink T-shirt, and jeans. Investigators said he may be in the company of Isaiah Deener, Jenalise Rivera, Tristan Price, Christopher Parker, or Ella Christian. FDLE urged residents not to approach Jackson if spotted but to call 911 or the Cocoa Police Department at 321-639-7620 immediately.
The alert was issued after Jackson went missing from the Cocoa area. FDLE said the boy’s location was unknown for more than 24 hours before his safe recovery. No details about how or where he was found were released.
Cocoa Police Department officials did not comment publicly on the case Tuesday but confirmed they are working with FDLE. Residents in the area were asked to check their yards and neighborhoods for any sign of Jackson but were not told to look for him actively.
FDLE emphasized that Jackson is now safe and that the alert was canceled as of 10:45 a.m. Tuesday. The agency said it will not issue further updates unless new information emerges.
