The FBI is seeking information about Alejandro Jacomino Gonzalez, a truck driver who disappeared after stopping at a rest area on I-95 in Grant-Valkaria on April 17. Gonzalez, 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing around 200 pounds, was transporting vehicles from Georgia to South Florida when he vanished. Officials said his truck left the rest stop at 7:49 a.m. heading toward Jacksonville but was later found in Port Wentworth, Georgia, with several vehicles missing.
Gonzalez was last seen at the rest stop between 1 a.m. and 8 a.m. on April 17, with a focus on the southern portion near the I-95 South ramp. He has a full sleeve tattoo on his left arm and another on his lower right arm. FBI agents emphasized the need for anyone with information to call the tip line at 1-800-225-5324.
Three vehicles from the hauler have since been recovered in Florida, but others remain unaccounted for. The incident has raised questions about the security of commercial truck stops in the area. Local law enforcement has not confirmed any arrests or suspects in the case.
The FBI’s Brevard County office is handling the investigation, working with trucking company officials to trace Gonzalez’s movements. Authorities said the truck’s GPS data showed it left the rest stop without incident but later deviated from its intended route. No signs of forced entry or damage were found on the truck when it was located in Georgia.
