He was driving multiple vehicles south to Miami from the Port of Brunswick, Georgia, when he disappeared. Investigators say his truck’s GPS showed him heading north toward Jacksonville just before 8 a.m. that day, after which he and the vehicle were reported missing.
Gonzalez’s truck was later found in Port Wentworth, Georgia, but he was not inside. Investigators say several vehicles were missing from the hauler at that time. Three of those vehicles have since been recovered in Florida, while others remain unaccounted for. The FBI is now asking for photos and video footage from the Grant-Valkaria rest area between 1 a.m. and 8 a.m. on April 17.
