Brevard County residents and visitors can enjoy a month of dining discounts and seasonal menus starting October 15. The annual Fall Is for Foodies event, organized by the Brevard County Convention and Visitors Bureau, includes special offers at restaurants in Cocoa Village, Titusville, and other areas. Participating venues include The Beach House in Cocoa Beach and Terra Restaurant in Palm Bay, which are offering 15% off select items during the promotion. The event aims to highlight local flavors while encouraging tourism ahead of the holiday season. "This is a chance for folks to try new places without breaking the bank," said Sarah Mitchell, a bureau spokesperson. The initiative follows similar spring promotions that drew over 20,000 attendees in 2023. Restaurants are required to display Fall Is for Foodies signage, and some are adding limited-time dishes like pumpkin spice lobster rolls and harvest-themed cocktails. The program runs through October 31, with no blackout dates for participating establishments. Details about specific deals can be found on the bureau’s website or by calling 321-207-4444. Local chefs have praised the event for boosting business during typically slower fall months. "We saw a 25% increase in customers last year," said Mark Thompson, owner of Terra Restaurant. The bureau plans to expand the program next year if participation remains strong.
