Eastern Florida State College’s softball and baseball teams will face off against ranked opponents in separate doubleheaders starting at 1 p.m. Saturday at Titan Softball Complex in Melbourne. Admission is free, and fans can watch live online via the EFSC Titans YouTube page. The softball team will host No. 4-ranked Florida Southwestern State College, while the baseball team takes on Hillsborough Community College. Both games are part of the Citrus Conference schedule.
The Titans softball team enters the matchup after losing to No. 5 Indian River State College earlier in the week. Florida Southwestern, which has won six consecutive games and holds a 7-1 conference record, is currently second in the FCSAA rankings. The Titans are 4-2 in the conference this season. The baseball team’s matchup against Hillsborough will be its first conference game of the season.
The doubleheaders are part of a busy weekend for the EFSC athletic department, which has drawn crowds to Titan Softball Complex throughout the season. The games will be streamed live on the EFSC Titans YouTube channel, with no admission fee required for spectators.
