Sean Register Jr. has been named to the NJCAA Division I First Team All-America squad, capping a standout season for the Eastern Florida State College men’s basketball program. The forward from Cleveland, Ohio, became the fifth Titan in school history to earn the honor and the 16th men’s basketball player overall. Register Jr. leaves EFSC as the program’s all-time single-season scoring leader with 769 points.
The 6-foot-7 forward averaged 22.1 points and 9.8 rebounds per game this season, helping the Titans reach the NJCAA Division I national tournament. His performance earned him first-team all-region honors and led to his selection as a First Team All-America. Register Jr. said the recognition is a result of hard work and teamwork.
"It’s a blessing," Register Jr. said. "To be honest, it’s just the hard work that my teammates and I put in this year. Every time I was having a hard time in practice or in the training, my coaches and teammates pushed me to keep going."
EFSC men’s basketball coach Mark Thompson praised Register Jr.’s impact on the team. "Sean is a complete player," Thompson said. "He’s a great shooter, a strong rebounder, and he’s always leading by example. This honor is well-deserved."
Register Jr. will graduate this spring and plans to pursue a career in professional basketball. He is the second EFSC player in the past three years to earn First Team All-America honors, following former Titan D.J. Johnson, who was named to the team in 2024.
