Eastern Florida State College will host a Dental Assisting Open House on Monday, March 9 from 4–7 p.m. at the EFSC Cocoa Campus, located at 1519 Clearlake Road, Cocoa, FL 32922, in Building 20, Room 104. The event is designed to help prospective students explore the program’s two pathways to completion and learn about career opportunities in dental assisting.
Attendees will have the chance to tour the dental clinic, attend presentations, and meet with faculty and advisors. The open house will provide details about the program’s curriculum, hands-on training, and requirements for admission. Prospective students can ask questions about the program’s structure and how to apply.
The registration deadline for the 14-month day program is April 8. The 16-month hybrid program, which combines online courses with evening on-campus labs, has a registration deadline of July 8. Both programs prepare students for careers in dental assisting, a field with growing demand in Brevard County and beyond.
The event will take place in Building 20, Room 104, on the EFSC Cocoa Campus. No prior registration is required to attend, but participants are encouraged to arrive early to fully explore the facilities and speak with program representatives. The open house is part of EFSC’s efforts to expand access to healthcare-related education in the region.
