Eastern Florida State College freshman Sean Register Jr. has been named to the Division I All-FCSAA Men's Basketball Team. The honor comes after a season that set multiple program records. Register Jr. scored 743 points this season, breaking the Titans' single-season scoring record. He is only the second player in program history to surpass 700 points in a season, joining Kareem Brewton, who tallied 718 points in the 2016-17 season.
Register Jr. finished the regular season leading the FCSAA in scoring at 24.8 points per game. His performance placed him third in the nation in scoring. He shot 67 percent from the floor, the highest mark in the FCSAA, and averaged 8.7 rebounds per game, ranking fifth in the state. The 6-foot-5 forward from Cleveland, Ohio, helped lead the Titans to a 22-10 overall record this season.
The All-FCSAA team recognizes the top players in the Florida College System Association. Register Jr.'s selection highlights his impact on the court. He became the first freshman in program history to be named to the All-FCSAA team. His 743 points this season broke the previous record of 718 set by Brewton.
Register Jr. is eligible for the National Junior College Athletic Association's All-American team. His performance has drawn interest from Division I programs. The Titans' men's basketball coach, Jeff Smith, praised Register Jr.'s work ethic. 'He's a complete player,' Smith said. 'His scoring, rebounding, and shooting percentages all reflect his dedication.'
