Dutch Bros is opening two new drive-through coffee locations in Florida this summer, with one set to open in Melbourne and another in Winter Garden. The chain, which has 36 locations in the state as of June 2026, plans further expansion. The Melbourne spot will be at 3195 W. New Haven Avenue, while the Winter Garden location will open at 5205 Hamlin Groves Trail. Both are expected to open in the coming weeks.
The Oregon-based chain, founded in 1992 by brothers Dane and Travis Boersma, has grown from a single pushcart in Grants Pass to 1,242 locations nationwide. Florida now hosts 36 of those, with the newest in Titusville opening this month. The company has already established a presence in major cities like Orlando, Tampa, and Jacksonville.
Current locations include Altamonte Springs, Apopka, Brooksville, and Daytona Beach, among others. The chain has two locations in Daytona Beach and four in Orlando. Dutch Bros emphasizes customer service as a core part of its brand, a focus that has driven its expansion despite the 3,000-mile distance from its Oregon roots.
The original Dutch Bros coffee stand started in 1992 near railroad tracks in Grants Pass. The brothers left their family’s dairy business to focus on coffee full-time. Today, the chain operates in 26 states, with Florida’s growth reflecting its popularity in the Sunshine State. The new locations will add to the existing 36, with more planned as the company continues its expansion.
