Crydermans Barbecue at 401 Florida Ave. in Cocoa is serving up its weekly specials this weekend, with a focus on its highly sought-after burnt ends. The restaurant announced the menu items on social media, warning customers to arrive early as portions sell out quickly. The event runs through Sunday, May 22, 2026.

The restaurant’s featured offerings include a chopped brisket sandwich, cheesesteaks, and jalapeño cheddar links. Burnt ends, which are the crispy, flavorful tips of brisket, have become a weekend staple since their return last month. The dish is prepared using traditional wood-fired cooking and slow-smoking techniques, a hallmark of the restaurant’s Central Texas-style barbecue.

Owner Mark Cryderman said the burnt ends are made from the same cuts of meat used in the restaurant’s daily brisket sandwiches. "We trim the brisket and smoke the ends separately," he explained in a recent post. "They take longer to cook but have a deeper flavor." The restaurant has been in operation since 2021 and has become a regular stop for locals and visitors alike.

The barbecue spot has faced challenges with demand, especially during weekends. Staff members have reported that burnt ends often disappear within an hour of opening. Crydermans Barbecue also offers takeout and catering, with a menu that includes ribs, sausages, and sides like macaroni and cheese.

The restaurant is open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., with weekend hours extended until 10 p.m. Customers are advised to check the restaurant’s social media pages for updates on availability. A second location in Melbourne is set to open in late 2026, according to Cryderman.
