Walsh said the trip fulfills a promise she made to the veterans about two years ago. 'This is so exciting,' Walsh said. 'It’s something I promised these women about two years ago.' The veterans will travel from the memorial center at 400 South Sykes Creek Parkway, Merritt Island, to Lakeland before flying to D.C.
