The Brevard Veterans Coalition is holding a free Veteran Resource Fair on Saturday, April 4, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Viera Community Center, located at 12300 Judge Fran Jamieson Way in Melbourne. The event aims to connect veterans and their families with local services, including healthcare support, benefits assistance, and community programs. A free breakfast is being provided by Vital Veterans Consultants.
The fair will feature representatives from multiple organizations that serve veterans, offering one-on-one consultations and information about available resources. Attendees can learn about housing assistance, employment opportunities, mental health services, and legal aid. Coalition organizers say the event is designed to reduce barriers to accessing care and support.
No registration is required to attend, and all services discussed at the fair are free. The Viera Community Center is accessible by car, with parking available on-site. Organizers encourage veterans to bring family members or friends who may also need assistance.
The event follows a similar fair held in 2025, which saw over 200 attendees. Coalition members say demand for services has increased since the last event, prompting expanded hours and additional vendors. Local businesses and nonprofits are contributing to the fair’s logistics and programming.
