Brevard County investigators are looking into American Made Windows after several homeowners claimed they paid deposits for window installations that were never completed. Paul Sanford and his wife filed a civil lawsuit in Brevard County court against the company and its owner, Zeuxis Salazar, alleging they were never given the windows they paid for. Sanford said he handed over $7,300 on December 3, 2025, for work that has not been done.
Homeowners told FOX 35 they were referred to American Made Windows by friends or acquaintances who had used the company before. Salazar held an active construction license with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, and the company was current with the Division of Corporations. Customers felt confident signing contracts that required a 65% down payment, believing the company was legitimate.
Salazar reportedly told customers their projects were delayed but later stopped responding to calls and texts. When Sanford and others visited the business, they found it had closed. Salazar directed them to an attorney, who said he does not represent the company and no bankruptcy filings have been made.
The lawsuit claims American Made Windows took money without delivering on work. Some customers said the company never even started installations. Brevard County officials are reviewing complaints, and Sanford’s case is one of several expected to be filed. Homeowners are seeking answers about where their money went and whether they can recover their payments.
