Brevard County high schools are launching their fall sports season this week with a slate of games and matches scheduled from Sept. 8 to Sept. 12. Other Tuesday matchups include Space Coast vs. Astronaut at River Lanes and Merritt Island Christian vs. Merritt Island at Shore Lanes Merritt Island. The schedule also features multiple golf events, with boys and girls teams competing at courses like The Great Outdoors Golf Club and Harbor City Golf Course. For example, the boys golf tournament includes Holy Trinity vs. Melbourne Central Catholic at Habitat Golf Club, while the girls golf matches start with Cocoa Beach vs. Merritt Island at The Savannahs Golf Club.

Swimming and diving events are also highlighted, with Melbourne vs. West Shore at Fee Pool and Cocoa Beach vs. Space Coast at Rockledge. The week’s schedule includes 14 bowling matches, 16 golf games, and four swimming events, spread across 10 different locations. Some schools, like Merritt Island and Cocoa Beach, are involved in multiple competitions, showcasing the county’s competitive sports environment.
